Mine with my first I just would have to stop and wait till they passed before I could move it didn't hurt so much at that point as it was intense.

Are they on a regular schedule. Time them if they stay consistent and get to less than 5 mins apart go in. Don't worry about what one person told you. You have to listen to your body.

If you have to stop what you are doing to breath through contractions they are real not Braxton Hicks. Try drinking some cold water and putting your feet up if its BH they will go away.

I just had intense contractions. They broke my water both times otherwise I would have delivered in the car both times. I had an hour long ride and wasn't sure so I waited to long both times got told I was lucky my water didn't break I would have had them in the car. I'm scared for this time my labor was quick and both single babies this time it's twins. Go with your gut love. It's better to be sent home rather than risk going so late they can't give you an epidural if that's something you want.

Not sure if you are at home or hospital. But if you have regular contractions you should go get checked out. My ob said if you have 6 within an hour go to L&D. Your water won't always break on its own at home. Mine didn't either time I was 6 cm and 8cm and it still hadnt broken so they broke it when I got to the hospital. Good luck momma!!
