Don't feel like you are tied to them. She does sound awful and I really feel for you. Put your head high and know your little girl will have the best start in life because your there. Just focus on you and baby and let the rest do as they please. That's what I've learnt over the years. My family is always up and down. Luckily my parents a drink my partners parents are great but the rest are nightmares. But I just ignore them now. Don't show they are bothering me. Xx

I can't begin to explain how pissed off I am at how ur MIL acted and spoke to you, who the hell does she think she is! My son don't have a lot of clothes either as clothes cost money, so does food, having a flat and day to day living but at least he is dressed, is never cold or dirty. Some people live such high mighty lives thinking that because they did this everyone should too and if not they look down on us. I don't know you but I bet you are doing an amazing job. Remember that ur not dating ur MIL ur with her son, if she can't be respectful and treat you like a grown woman show her the door! I am defo agree with you guys @ceecee190, @b.margyte when it comes to baby stuff, I would never buy too much stuff for my baby specially when it comes to clothes and shoes but he will defo have enough. Honestly, whats the fuss if they do have only 10 outfits anyway they will out grown by the blink of an eye .. huh!! Stupid women. I would suggest you shud tell her not to tell u how to raise ur kids coz you are already putting up a lot effort and struggling with the one she raised .. What a snob? @mamapop, I have bad history of recurrent UTI, and I have tried every single remedies on this earth including antiboitics.Personally I have been cleaning myself with baking soda not regularly but once in a while in pregnancy (totally upto u) and putting coconut oil inside out which really really helped me to survive in this pregnancy so far and yeah can't deny water 3ltrs atleast.. If you have concern regarding baking soda, I would suggest search b4 u do it, coz as far as I know baking soda helps in maintaining vaginal acid in control and helps in creating more alkaline enviroment for sperms to survive. On that note I thought it wud be safe but coconut oil has no harm and helped me alot.

Her comment really upset me because I hate not having my own money since being fired. Even with the sure start grant I still haven't got everything for baby. I expected OH to at least buy some things but all he's got is a jumper that was £2 when he earns well over a grand a month and pays nothing out but car insurance, tax and petrol 😡
