Vitamin D question. Our little one needs 400 iu's a day but our Virgin D drops are 1000iu's - 1ml = 400ius so am I safe to say 0.4ml of our 1000 iu's is = 400ius? I'm going to order the baby D drops but this is what we have now.

true enough I'll ask our doctor to be sure as the stuff they gave us in the hospital was 1ml and it = 400uis but I'm not sure what they were using.

I can do the right calculations, but I don't know if I trust a conversion from the internet. lol

I looked online and it says that 1 ml=100ius ... this means that there are 10ml 's in 1000ius so, you would have to give 4 ml's . probably best to ask a doctor, but I'm pretty sure this is the case :)

when you cross multiply, I get that 2.5 ml is 1000ius
