Vitamin D question. Our little one needs 400 iu's a day but our Virgin D drops are 1000iu's - 1ml = 400ius so am I safe to say 0.4ml of our 1000 iu's is = 400ius? I'm going to order the baby D drops but this is what we have now.
Well after we lost our angel babies on Father’s Day and then our D&C July 6th it appears we have our rainbow 🌈 We got a positive OPK on July 24th 10 DPO today!
VITAMIN D drops Our pedi today told us our 1mo old should be on vitamin d drops if she's on only breastmilk... Not like a prescription just OTC. But she said one eyedropper full a day. That seems like a lot for a 9 pound baby... Plus I thought she gets all her vitamins from my breastmilk?

Vitamin d drops? My pediatrician wrote me a script for vitamin d drops for my 1 month old. She said that now they are giving them to ebf babies... anyone else been told this before? I thought breast milk had everything babies needed

when you cross multiply, I get that 2.5 ml is 1000ius

my math is horrible my fiance is the math Wiz that's why he's an electrician so how many ml's for 400ius then?

I looked online and it says that 1 ml=100ius ... this means that there are 10ml 's in 1000ius so, you would have to give 4 ml's . probably best to ask a doctor, but I'm pretty sure this is the case :)

I can do the right calculations, but I don't know if I trust a conversion from the internet. lol

true enough I'll ask our doctor to be sure as the stuff they gave us in the hospital was 1ml and it = 400uis but I'm not sure what they were using.
