I've been given antibiotics for a water infection called nitropurantoin, has anybody else taken these whilst pregnant…

They are so annoying, but so common in pregnancy! It's worse if you don't get symptoms, I ended up in hospital thinking I had a kidney infection it was that bad! Baby was fine thank god xx

you shouldn't leave a uti as they can be dangerous in pregnancy always make sure you get it treated. I have a consultant because I suffer with a lot of utis and can cause miscarriage and preterm labour so that's why my urine had to be checked every 4 weeks until I was 30 weeks xx @winterbaby95

Dr won't prescribe you anything that is unsafe for pregnancy. You are fine. There's also ways to get rid of UTI's without antibiotics. I just left mine to go on its own. I just drank lots of water to flush it out. Xx

Yeah they are fine I'm currently in them for the same thing xx

I was given amoxicillin when I had a uti. Did your doctor give them to you and knowing that you're pregnant if so then I'm sure their fine xx
