Sooooo, I know "they" say to put baby down "sleepy" and not "sleeping". But, my five month old is now being the biggest pain in the butt! 😅. It's to the point where I have to put her down passed out. If I put her down sleepy instead of already asleep, she starts doing this thing (immediately.) where she throws her head back and forth, and then all of a sudden she's wide awake. I can't figure her out. We tried baths early, then bath right before bed. We've tried playing to wear her out, and of course feeding to fill her up. She's killing me! 😣❤️

I have to put my daughter down when she's asleep, she will keep herself up and cru if I just put her down

sway her, trick is to do it somewhat quickly not enough that's gonna throw you off or make you dizzy or anything obviously. all babies are different she may like her but tapped while you sway her, or her back rubbed. I've never had an issue with my sway method xD

@rachellynn3316, I actually do squats with her. (My butt looks amazing. 😂), or if she's not feeling that, then I do half circle spins with her. She will get sleepy, but, like I said, the second I lay her down, she does the head back-and-forth thing. I honestly think it's her "fighting sleep".

just do it until she's asleep for at least 2-3 minutes I'm noticed if I start out slow they get the droopy eye and then they start giving in then you speed up a tad and they give in
