How many mommies cosleep? If you don't what's your opinion about it?

Ayden just won't stay asleep in his own bed. Hell sleep 5+ hours in bed with me. I'm lucky I get an hour to myself in his own bed.

do what you are comfortable with at the end of the day! I let my baby sleep on her belly during nap time and we Co sleep at night! Her doctor advised against it but my son and daughter has only benefited from it she never had issues with gas and her neck and core are super strong because of it I never lay her down on fluffy surfaces during her naps no blankets are in the crib and she moves her head to the other side when she uncomfortable so I don't worry about sids I also check on her every 10-20 mins during her naps

I co sleep until they are 3 months then we start sleep training

I co sleep with my 7 month old. I tried sleep training but I just can't let her cry it out. But now she won't even take a nap unless I'm holding her and she wakes up the second I lay her down.

@aydensmommy7, I think it's a totally personal choice & every parent/child is different, it's just from my experiences aka what I've seen from the toddlers around me - it's become a bad habit. Not saying that it will be that way with everyone! I do truly believe it's an experience that can't be compared to anything else. & as far as nurses making comments - fuck them. I hate shit like that. I commented my opinion bc it was asked for, people who come out of their ass with their rude comments is such a pet peeve. Like no one asked you.

I just tried, but obviously my son doesn't like sleeping with me! lol He kept moving & rolling. I put him in his crib & he's out!

I Co slept for the first couple weeks granted my son's only 6 weeks old... but he is a thrasher... he kicks and constantly moves and I don't get any sleep he's been in his crib for 3 days now and I still can't sleep hence it's 1230 here and he's knocked out and I'm still awake

yeah exactly which I don't mind Co sleeping I really don't it's just the fact that it's sooo hard because she won't let us sleep on the bed..so I have been stuck sleeping on the couch for the past 6 months. and she wakes up non stop throughout the night crying or tossing and turning because she is too hot or she can't get comfy.

Oh ok. I have only done the same bed to get her to fall asleep then transferred her, I wad always to scared I would roll over on her or I want comfy cause she could only fall asleep on my arm and if I don't sleep good I would be miserable the next day. but she was in the same room with me until 4 months. then we moved her to get crib in her room. which now at 14 months she sleeps better in her own room. but we did share a bed for a nap during a horrible storm and I loved it but I couldn't fall asleep. it's really a personal preference. but I know I toss and turn at night where it was dagger for her to be in her bed right next to mine

@juliagail09, ugh right ? My nurses have made their fair share of comments. At the end of the day I always tell myself it's just how you parent.

@killxj0y, right. I'll sleep with my baby for a while I don't really plan to when he's a toddler. Maybe it's just because I slept with my mom for a while. She never minded thou.

Has anyone else ever made you feel guilty about cosleeping ? A Nurse made me feel really shitty after she found me and my baby napping.

when you say co sleep do you mean same bed or same room?

yeah henlei did good she would sleep on her for the most part up until she was about 6 months then it went to crap. lol I'm trying to get her to sleep in her own bed. her doctor is very against Co sleeping. but it's hard for me to just let her cry herself to sleep

but it would be nice to sleep in my bed. lol

I think co sleeping your baby is wonderful but I feel like there's a limit bc then you have a toddler who can't/refuses to sleep without you. Not saying that the case with everyone but for example my SIL is about to be 7 & she can't/refuses to sleep without her mom. They share a room bc of space in the house but she does have her own bed in that room but she won't use it cus her mom got her so used to co sleeping. She can't even wake up alone without crying like someone's bout to kill her. I just think there's limits.

@juliagail09, wow my baby just won't sleep in his crib. He does have his own room so his bed is in there I did have a bassinet which was only useful to hold diapers and wipes.

I love taking naps with my little girl but we don't do sleep at night mainly because hubby moves around too much and we're scared he may accidentally hurt her and I love my space to sleep alone at night

I co sleep and have since we brought her home. We co sleep because I feel it is safer for us. I know she is right there and I dont move around in bed. We wake up together and go to bed together. I love co sleeping

Been bed sharing for 2 yrs now. Baby #2 is due in 8 weeks and I plan on bed sharing with both babies as long as possible!

Congrats. Has she slept with you since birth? My little one won't sleep with out my unless it's day time naps.

I do. it's a hate love type of thing lol but my baby is difficult when it comes to sleeping. she will only sleep with me on the couch she won't let us sleep in my bed for more then 2 or 3 hours.

I do but she's 3 so I'm trying 2 stop her fully b4 the baby gets here in June & her 4th bday in July
