I love this SO MUCH. 4 months strong with my girl, no bottles, no paci's, just mommy love 😍

Thank you I needed to read this because I nursed my daughter for 2 years and she still tries to hold my boobs for comfort lol. And I'm trying to get my head right to nurse the new baby when she comes. I felt so 'touched out' and the end of nursing with my daughter. Hope it's easier the second time.

I totally love this, I shared it on Facebook just because it summed up my feelings on this subject so well! And I feel like people just think I'm letting my girl get away with pacifying on me (no one I know continued to breastfeed after 3 months, most of them 1 month or not even the first week), when in reality a pacifier is a cheap, plastic knock off of me 😉

breastfeeding is not the easiest thing in the world, but I feel like it's so worth the effort. some days when I want to quit, it helps me to read this... I hope it goes well for you with your new little one❤

@hellosweetie, I tried at 2 weeks to give her a pacifier, and she was not having any part of the imposter lol!!! I would give her one if she'd take it, but I guess I don't mind too much. I've learned to sleep really still lol!

It gets easier the older they get, my girl started sleeping through the night some time around 3 months, once she's knocked out she'll sleep for a good 7 to 9 hours some nights! Now if only I could make myseld fall asleep quickly to get that much sleep like her.....I'm an insomniac, never been easy sleeping for me 😢 I tried a pacifier with my girl a couple times but she always spat it out and gave me a dirty look, or would gag at it....she did the same exact thing with EVERY bottle we've tried, so we're glad we never wasted money on an electric pump! It's a pain and time consuming, but I will always cherish these moments and will miss them later when she's a big girl and all about that, "I do it myself, mommy!" 😭💔 lol

I know @hellosweetie , she acts like I'm trying to choke her with the paci/bottle lol!! I've gotten pretty used to it though (:
