fml my 3 year old is showing signs of pink eye and I haven't gotten her insurance card yet. Idk what to do.

@bianca_rose, ok thanks she just got a bath and I got her dressed hair dried and in bed. I just hope she sleeps tonight.

That so weird. The main reason for urgent cares is for people without insurance you pay like $60 for a visit. Sorry to hear that😔

I'm pretty sure you'd still do the antibiotic drops or ointment...try to have her wash her hands more often and use warm compresses on her to help relieve the itchiness, use a different compress on each eye though, and wash your hands often especially before touching your eye area

@abella1023, our CVS doesn't have a walk in clinic unfortunately. we have urgent cares in the area but they won't take you unless you have an insurance card in hand.

Go to a cvs or Walgreens walk in clinic👍🏼

Medicaid will retro back 90 days, chip is most likely the same, so if you do end up having to go to the hospital you can submit your bill to them and they'll pay it

@bianca_rose, I'm not sure if it's active already or not cuz they switched her to chip but I haven't received anything yet. I'm going to call tomorrow and worst comes to worst I'll ask if they can just bill me, and if not to the hospital we go.

If ins is effective already the dr office can look it up online using her name and social
