QUESTION
How do you feel when or if your child calls you by your name instead of mom.mommy.mami ect....my baby started calling me by my name which im glad she knows my name but i dont like it when she calls my name instead of mom for stuff...her dad is daddy and im Lissette...idk just wondering 😒😥

@lunitammy14, if her daddy calls you by your name a lot rather than a pet name it can cause her to think that's what is supposed to happen my husband always refers to me as mama around Jackson even in public when he's talking to me, try asking your hubby to call you by mama or mommy instead and see if she picks up on it.
babies will say what they hear..u just have to keep correcting them
@my yeah i been doing that i get on the floor and tell her the same but sje just stares at me like w/e its not a good feeling

@isaiahjamesmommy, yes!! i feel like. she doesnt see me as mommy it does hurt alot! especially after a long day!:(
sometimes children call you by what they hear other people call you with my niece we started calling each other mommy and daddy
My nephew does that to my sister. He calls her Chy Chy (Chyenne) It hurts and aggravates her so badly. She just tells him, "No, my name is Mommy." or "I'm Mommy." I know it breaks her heart every time.
@jher daddy calls me babe all the time and i do too. i was actually surprised she picked up on Lissette since its my middle name and only my parents call me that...idk but i will deff ask hubby to stick to mama fpr now i hope she picks up on it thanks for that!
