It's been almost 6 months since we called it quits, but when I'm sitting alone and thinking I still get sad and upset that we couldn't work things out and be a family. I know the day I have my daughter (which should be any day now) and I see him hold her for the first time I'm gonna lose it and cry my eyes out.. Why can't this be a perfect world where everything works out in your favor? 💔 UGH BLAH, okay I had my mini break down. Time to toughen back up now! -VentOver-

I'm in the same boat! I know exactly how you feel. I'm not as far along and him and I been broken up for 4 months. We were together for 8 years. I wish things were different everyday but I also remind myself that I have joy with myself, family and this baby and one day someone will come and add to my joy and it'll be better than I could've imagined because I deserve it. Sending positive vibes your way. I know it gets lonely, just keep your head up.

Yeah he wants to be a father to her. For some reason we just can't work things out with each other and be a family all together. We are both stubborn and hard headed and we just don't mix well I guess.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Worst day ever, come to find out the father of my child was talking to another girl behind my back telling her that we wasn't together and the only thing we had together was a baby. Like he is living with me and all... I suffer from bad depression and anxiety and I stopped taking my meds when I found out I was pregnant. And now I'm freaking out, I'm hurt, I'm embarrassed and I don't know what to do.

Opinions on crying it out?

Opinions on crying it out? My baby is 8 1/2 months old. I've tried the no tears method and it worked a couple times but now it doesn't anymore. I do squats while holding her and rock her (21 lbs baby) for over an hour each nap all for nothing. My friend said she did cry it out and by the 3rd day her baby would only cry 5 minutes and now he's totally fine with sleeping in the crib. Opinions please? I am the only one who actually raises my kid. My fiancé does not help and I have no family that helps. So it is very hard on me. Thank you Edit: because clearly some of the women on here think I'm a monster. I am an EMT. When I go back to work, I will be gone 24 hours at a time. My daughter is almost 9 months old and cries every minute she is not in my arms. As much as I want to comfort her every second of the day, I can't. And it's better I get her used to sleeping on her own now, than not letting her cry and all of a sudden mommys gone for 24 hours at a time and she completely loses it and I can't just get off work to comfort her.
