I had an ultrasound at 5,6,&7 weeks due to me being high risk and then another at 12 and then another at 21 to find out the gender. I have to schedule another one around 34 weeks to see if my baby is still breeched. They usually do one every trimester
10 weeks was my first appointment. so they did it to confirm pregnancy (though it was obvious cuz no period for 2months) and 18 was the anatomy/gender. that's all i got. it highly depends upon what your insurance covers and your doctor. unless you're high risk, it's not needed. and getting them too often isn't good for baby.
@yaddie, I am not planning to find out what I'm having. Though I am going to have them give me the gender in case I decide to do a gender reveal. Course there is a good chance I will get tackeled at work by the girls who really want to know. lol 😂
@newbee2016, Haha. I feel you on that one .I wanted to do a gender reveal but don't really know anyone here besides my parents, Husband and the 5 people I work with lol all my other family and friends are back in Cali or NC .
@yaddie, I definitely feel ya there. I live about 3 hours from all of my family, but relocating when baby arrives. Since the sperm donor doesn't want to be involved I feel like being near my family is crutial. Baby shower is happening back home so I figured a gender reveal would be easy back there...
I got one at 10 weeks to confirm pregnancy, than I had to have a vitality ultrasound at 13 weeks cause they couldn't find a heartbeat with the doppler. But all was well & I got to see my baby out of it!

I'm just glad I'm almost there. Still over 2 weeks away but I been waiting so long already it doesn't seem horrible anymore. lol @yaddie

got one at 7 weeks my next one is at 20 weeks which is next Wednesday but I went to baby steps to get my gender revealed at 17 weeks
