Okay so I was told the other night at the hospital that it's mandatory I bring a bassinet to the hospital with me along with Baby's car seat and baby's hospital bag. What if I didn't want to waste money on a bassinet?!?

Never heard of bringing a bassinet....normally they have something they put the baby in.

Who told you that? They had a little cart/bassinet type thing they had the baby in. Although I had a bassinet I wouldn't have brought it to the hospital with me, thats too much.

I don't even plan on bringing a diaper bag when I get to bring my baby home. Anything I feel she will need at the hospital can be packed in my bag or brought to me. The only thing I've ever heard you be required to bring is the car seat, for obvious reasons.

@arianna321, Whatever I think he will need at the hospital will be packed in my bag and of course I'm taking his car seat but a bassinet is just to much.. and @their.bomb.ass.mom neither have I. I wasn't even planning on buying a bassinet. I have a rock and play I am going to use beside our bed for him to sleep in also so I can use it for more than a few months.
