I don't think I want to have a baby shower again.. I mean I would love to see my friends and family but I rather take the money & spend on my munchkin myself.. I would probably be spending at least 500-800 (estimate) on it... What do you all think?

I feel the same...sometimes ppl just come to chit chat and eat, which is fine just not at my expense lol! I had one with my first born and said never again!

A lot of second time mom's don't do a shower, because usually you don't need all the big stuff. look up a sprinkle shower, if you're still wanting to have a get together.

I had one. my friend hosted it for me. probably only spent about 100 on the whole party of 30 people. I didn't get much cause only half showed up but got a few extra items that I needed.

yeah I didn't expect her to spend a lot. Like two or three games cheap prizes is fine. she got body wash. and they got an f for everyone to sign. and got from my boyfriends restaurant. and cake from Wal-Mart. just something simple.

@moe899, I just spent almost 200 for decor ballons pans centerpieces etc for my babyshower but being this my first baby i wanted 1 but feel like others should have threw...now i feel like i should have just spent the money on my baby cuz who knows who realy gonnw show up
