Does anyone actually wait the 6 weeks that's recommend to have sex after birth?? I feel like I'm the only one!

I didn't wait and poof now 45 days away from having my daughter. Definitely waiting this time

@kreeblim, Exactly what my ob said and plus you very easily can can an infection if you're not completely healed.

@tmoschetti06, yeah I waited a full 8 weeks but mostly to be safe about it (I waited til after my first period) and I heard horror stories about how it's like losing your virginity all over again

I totally waited. I got two 2nd degree tears so I was very afraid lol...plus I wanted to make sure all the bleeding was gone and that my cervix was completely closed again, don't want an infection!
