sorry if tmi
I will be 39 weeks on friday. I've had diarrhea for two weeks now and have been taking meds to prevent it. I'm being induced on Monday and my biggest fear is going while on the table. I don't want to be a laughing stock. has this happened to anyone and how do I prevent it?

I would have a talk with her, tell her you want her there but you need her to keep what happens that may embarrass you to stay with her, and if she can't promise you that then tell her she can't be there. I know you want her there for support but having a baby is joyous and not if she is gonna "ruin" (for lack of a better word) it for you.

yeah but every time I've had personal talks or personal problems I've went to her n have had multiple people come to me telling me not to tell her things cause she has told them. n if that happens on the table I know she would run her mouth and poke fun because that's just how she is n it embarrasses the hell out of me.

And honestly when your mom sees your baby she's gonna forget anything that may or may not have happened, she's probably gonna bust out her camera n take millions of pics! 📷📷☺☺

Nurses are so quiet about it, if you do they are good at getting rid of it quietly without anyone knowing. Hun if it happens to you I can promise you that you won't be the first and you sure won't be the last! I had some hemorrhaging from when they tried to pull baby B out, the meds they gave me to help stop the bleeding can cause diarrhea, let me tell you that poor nurse just came on shift when I got back to my room and she was so sweet about having to help clean me up AND to top it all off when I was all done and ready to go to the mom and baby unit when I stood up I peed all over the floor! I couldn't stop it! and she was so sweet and gave me tissues cuz I was crying cuz I felt bad, they see all sorts of stuff and hear all sorts of stuff!! Don't sweat it! all they really care about is making sure that everything goes well and that mama n baby are happy!!

I have my mother being present but she's horrible with running her mouth. inmean I want her in there for support but I know if that were to happen she would run her mouth to everyone and piss me off.

I'm 17 and worry about the same thing but my mom and even doctor say that it's very common and normal for women to go number one and two while they're pushing the baby out and most women barely notice they do it because the doctors wipe it away very quick and it's completely natural
