Sounds more like ligament pains, Braxton Hicks aren't usually painful, just a little uncomfortable. But you should check with your doc if you're worried about it.
I had really bad ligament pain too. Always in my right side. My midwife told me I can take Tylenol. And to take a bath or hot shower. I hope you find relief soon
They're a really weird sensation, your whole abdomen tightens almost like you're flexing your stomach muscles except you aren't doing anything to cause it. I started noticing them around 18 weeks, but only if I'm really exhausted or dehydrated. I've heard most people start feeling them somewhere between 20-25 weeks.
@booboolanii I got Braxton hicks starting my second trimester. They are like contractions. Sometimes they hurt and sometimes they don't. Doc said you feel them more intense as you get older and as you have more babies (this is my third) mine were really bad and like they said above if you are doing a lot and over worked just lay down and relax and they will go away. Hopefully quicker than later. Drink lots of water.
