good evening lovlies! something is not adding up for me. I have been getting positive pregnancy tests since the end of november, had an ultrasound December 18th the tech doing my visit said she had thought I was about 4 weeks..well fast forward to today I had an appointment with my obgyn and on his doppler machine said he couldn't hear a heart beat (neither could i) but he also said I was early. just early. I don't go back to see my ob until February, it just doesn't make much sense to me and I'm still agitated because I haven't been given an estimated due date or anything and quite frankly I'm upset.
and depending on where your placenta is the Doppler could make hearing the heartbeat even harder
I wouldn't be too worried if you haven't heard a heartbeat at 8 weeks. It's still early for a Doppler. They usually can't detect it until 10 to 12 weeks.
@ba I thought they would've determined it at first visit no?
I'd wait until you have an ultrasound to determine how far along you really are.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
