Hey moms...how much weight did you gain in first trimester?

yes I was very sick..miserably sick...lol..tried every natural remedy and had to give in and take antiemetics. the only thing thats scaring me from having another after this one is that terrible "morning" sickness and I'm now almost 8 months and only gained like 6 lbs back smh.

@ash1987, WOW!!!! That's nuts. Congrats on making it thru, that has to be a huge relief with that!

@olson0305, actually I was 10 days pregnant when I had it put in while I was having surgery. I had a negative urine pregnancy test. but my blood work showed different. my OBGYN didn't see anything while she was doing the surgery. we didnt know I was pregnant until I was 8 weeks along. I had to go into the ER due to bleeding and what looked like a sac. they think I was pregnant with twins and lost one probably due to the Mirena could have been or hit that sac. the couldn't find the strings to the Mirena to pull it out. so we have been monitored during this whole pregnancy and last time we had an ultrasound the IUD is a few inches from the placenta which is what they are wanting. it hasn't been near here this whole time. we go Sunday to be induced. this is my doctors office first IUD pregnancy and delivery.

@ash1987, the mirena!!! So I take it your mirena failed! Lol mine fell out when I had one.

@olson0305, I had really bad morning sickness throughout first and second trimester. I still have it now on and off. I really didn't crave anything and what I did crave was mostly fruits and veggies. my doctor always ask am I eating due to me not gaining weight. but they said what has happen is the baby is taking the weight she needs and I'm just not gaining much of anything and will help with the weight lost after I give birth. also, I am pregnant with the Mirena still in..so I don't know if that has something to do with it as well.

@shyannfleener, I kinda wonder if being younger makes that happen!! My 2nd baby is now almost 5 so it's been a while for me, and I lost a bit with her. I've gained 3 this time. Lol

@kristim, oh man, I'm sorry! Morning sickness is so miserable. I'm about 13 wks and it slowed down for me but still hasn't left. Think baby!!😍

@ash1987, were you really sick? I hate being sick but I also fear the weight. Lol

none... I kept loosing weight. I'm 38 weeks and 3 days and I've gained a total 7 pounds this whole pregnancy.

I'm only 8 weeks and I've lost 10lbs because I've been so ridiculously sick.

Lost 20. Lol

@sharonpaige13, I ended up gaining over 50 with my first 2 babies but now I'm older and started 40lbs heavier so I'm really trying not to give in to cravings. Lol damn u XMAS!!

@olson0305, that honestly could be it! My doctor said its not good to gain a lot of weight that around middle of second trimester your suppose to gain a pound a week along as your eating healthy cuz your only suppose to to increase your calorie intake by 100-200 calories

@sharonpaige13, I lost with my first 2 but gained this time. Lol kinda worried. I blame it on XMAS!!

I gained 2lb in my first trimester, 6lbs in my second trimester, and I've gained 15 so far in my 3rd trimester

I lost about 10 pounds usually you stay the same weight
