can a doctor accidentally strip your membranes? I'm a curious George. I had a cervical check but its been about two hours and I'm hurting. I have these really intense cramping pains that come and go I haven't been timing them but they're about a minute ish apart. they hurt super duper bad but I don't wanna go to the hospital for nothing, or is this completely normal?

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I'm in labor Guys, I've been in labor I guess since 9pm Sunday. .that I know.
Been having contractions off and on for about an hour thinking should I go to the hospital .

Yes, or they may have done it on purpose if you're 38-42 weeks.

when in doubt get checked out, it's possible u could b in labor, better safe than sorry

I'd just call your doctor's office and notify them, and then call labor and delivery at the hospital and ask about it.
In the meanwhile, I'd lay down and drink lots of water or eat ice.

I'd go in to ER and tell them what happened. lol. if you're far enough along, go walking around the block for a little bit and drink lots of water and do some squats and that might start your labor up on its own. maybe do some kegels too.
