does there have to be a medical reason in order to be induced? my due date is very close to my father's birthday and he passed away when I was little and my entire family is wanting me to have my son on his birthday but I feel that if I do it will take away from my son because of how my family is.
I have been induced so far with both my babies at 39 weeks, supposed to be the same with this one. first one, my Dr was going to be away when I was due and I was having some complications. second one we were having a terrible winter and I lived 2+ hours away from the hospital - he didn't want me snowed in having a baby. this one, I am out of room and having slight issues with chloestasis (?) and we have no family or friends nearby to watch our older children when baby decides to come.
a doctor won't induce unless nessisary. you can be hooked up to pitocin for hours and have no progress unless baby is ready to come out.
ohh gotcha! best bet will be to talk to your doctor. but most doctors won't unless your past 40 wks
@mommybump2016 I want to be induced so that there will be no chances of me having him on my father's birthday.
yes I don't think a doctor will induce you unless the baby needs to come. or if your past your due date . don't do it for your family, this is your baby. if you want to be induced talk to your doctor if not tell your family you cant. good luck!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
