Am i the only unfortunate one with an extremely RUDE MIDWIFE??? She told me im "unwise" for still working and that i should be lying up with my feet up instead. I suppose noone told her that you should be as active as possible during pregnancy to avoid complications.. Can you change midwifes in uk ? Like if i went in and told them i dont want her antwhere near me?

Yeah. I was so annoyed the other day when I had left the shops to get in the car and then realised I had to go back. It was horrible. Felt like just not bothering but I had to coz mothercare had left a security tag on. X

Aww I'm having a girl 💖. I'm not that much of an active person but I do walk a lot due to the fact that I don't drive. It's gotten harder to walk as it just hurts so I reckon swimming more will help me x

@b.margyte, Tbf I do think some days "what to do today" but then I find something to do. I think I'll go swimming tomorrow, soothe my aching pelvis. Plus I haven't been in so long. Same due date? Haha that's fab. So you know what you're having? X

I only work 4 days a week and i feel that id go crazy in the house all week im using this as an excuse to get out and socialise . @nashkay i completely agree that everyones pregnancy is different and that it depends on how you have felt through out it. Ive had an extremely easy one and apart from heartburn and backpain ive been fine so far ! P.s we have the same DD

She shouldn't say it in the way she did but she does have a point, you don't know when your baby is going to come and you do need that time before baby is due to spend some time enjoying the peace and relaxation, as well as reconnecting with your partner etc that said, it is your choice when you chose to finish working and depends what your pregnancy has been like. I was hospitalised a few times and had issues at work so I left at 33 weeks, but it was what was best for me. So each to their own I guess

She basically told me im stupid for working. Im sure thats not right in any way. My job is not physical what so ever i work in an office so im not putting strain on myself . If i felt that i was uncomfortable or stressed i would take the time off

shes right tho. they all advise against it being so close to full.term and all. mine says I should exersise 30 mins a day only and thats just walking. ive beong told to keep my feet up more now cos of all the strain it could cause a painful labour. but if you feel you can carry on working its noones choice but yours. x
