help please ! I had my son at 12:09am . I pumped after he was born and got 12ml , now it takes two times of pumping to not even get 1ml . any ways I can bring the flow back or is it normal for this to happen ? he doesn't cry at all so I never know if my little bit of pump is filling him up or not .
Their tummies are super small at first so don't be too worried, you can always supplement if needed. I didn't produce much at all, I had a csection which causes milk supply to come in slower and then it just never really fully came in. I got to fully give her breast milk for a month and then some supplementing before I had to fully give her formula because I dried up. You just do what you think is best!
Yeah plus I like knowing how much is going in so I know he's not starving , I told them I would try to breast feed but I wasn't going to stress on it and they said they were glad I kept an open mind. I just wish I knew a way to make more for him to eat , he doesn't act starved but I would feel better knowing i had more to feed him @aneely13
When I breastfed I used the boopy pillow to prop baby in place and then when latched I would just push my boob in some so it was away from her nose (I have size J boobs so I know the struggle) I too ended up just pumping once I left the hospital because it was easier for us.
my son couldn't breathe while on the boob , my boobs are to big and when I'd push a little bit back he would fall of his latch. so it was better for both of us to pump , bc I wanted to try everything I could before putting him on formula . @charlotttesmama6515
These first few weeks are critical for baby learning how to breastfeed.
That's fine n normal. A pump doesn't tell you how much milk your producing.
Just curious but why are you pumping instead of putting baby on the breast?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
thanks @aneely13
