Wouldn't wish the 3 hour glucose test on anyone. You are SO lucky if you passed. 😷 I love sugar but this test made me feel nauseas immediately & I tried so hard to keep it in but I barfed uncontrollably everywhere within 15 minutes. Even driving home I prayed for some red lights just to release the throw up I was holding in my mouth, on the side of the road. 😓 Now I have to take that stupid test all over again & I'm highly considering refusing and just letting them diagnose me with GD! Yes I know I would have to monitor my blood for the rest of my pregnancy but to me it's almost worth it. I scored a 180 on my one hour glucose test, & I see some women have failed w/ a 140? I more than likely have it anyways, right?

i didnt pass my 1 hour test so i also had to go in for the 3 hour one. the test were a week apart and doc told me to eat healthy the entire week before my 3 hour test. i did as instructed and my 3 hour test came out negative. so just bc you failed the 1 hour test doesn't mean you will fail your 3 hour test. you have to be very careful with that diabetes stuff, it can end up killing the baby. at least thats what the doc told me

See if your Ob can give you the A1c test instead of you going back in for the 3 hour glucose tolerance test again.

Yes I did and it was 100g of sugar instead of 50 that's why it made me so sick. They don't offer the jelly beans or anything else but the fruit punch drink. :( @kmally
Did you have to do the drink for the three hour? Maybe see if you can do an alternative to the drink. They can do a full meal or jelly beans instead.
