Any PCOS ladies out there actually get pregnant on Metformin?

I had an HSG (tube test) done to make sure my tubes weren't blocked from the previous miscarriages. and it took me 2 months after both of them.@stillwaiting56,

That gives me hope. my Dr. did blood work today and said he believes I do have PCOS. He said when the blood work comes back he will likely get me a prescription for Metformin to hopefully get my period going. I'm just really needed some SUCCESS stories about it. It is a lot to take in!

I have PCOS and was on metformin for it. I would say it worked since I ended up pregnant while on metformin and birth control (missed a few birth control pills). Now I am expecting a little girl in March :)

I was on it for a long time to help me from becoming a diabetic since I am a pre diabetic. I would say 3 years or longer. Then I got diagnosed with PCOS and my primary doctor sent me to my OBGYN. My OBGYN said a combination of birth control and metformin will help control the PCOS and help me get pregnant when I was ready to try. So she uped my dose of metformin and put me on birth control in July of 2014 and I conceived in June of 2015 without trying. She suggested taking the birth control atleast 3 or 4 months then stopping it 2 months before I wanted to start trying. I never stopped taking the birth control until I found out I was pregnant but I did miss a few pills. I never knew missing a few pills would cause me to end up pregnant so quickly since it was suppose to be hard for me to get pregnant. Sorry for the long comment and hope it makes snse.
