I have gained 38 pounds..... Doctor said to slow down on weight gain. I am watching what I eat as it is, do you want me to starve myself?! 😒
My doctor was concerned about my dramatic weight gain too but he told me now is not the time to worry about any sort of diet. He said it's okay, I just might have a few extra pounds after I have my baby...which is a bummer, but I'm glad baby and I are healthy!
Thank you @39surp @316ftm @rachelannise 💙💚💜 I have been slowing down on my salt intake, drinking more water, homemade nutritional smoothies and eating fruits and veggies. I'm trying to get myself back on track to what I used to eat before I got pregnant so that when my son is born it isn't a shock to my body. I figure that he is a big boy and is making mommy fat but then it sucks when the doctors (and mother-in-law) say to slow down when I am trying my best already ☹
It could be water retention. I gained like 30lbs of water with my first pregnancy. Watch your sodium and stay away from inflammatory foods.
dont worry about it. as long as you and baby are healthy it shouldnt matter. i know multiple people who gained 60+ pounds during their pregnancy. you can always lose the weight after. feed that baby!:)
@babymadelyngrace Thank you ☺️ You ladies made my day!
