How much maternity leave do you get with your job? I work for the govt and I do not get any maternity leave, I have to use what I have for annual and sick! Very frustrating.

I work for the state and received 12 weeks with 8 paid and had to use all pto hours.

Well that's good! I know it is very frustrating when they don't offer maternity leave. Ugh
None.. But my Aflac will pay me the time my doctor requires off.

Sorry ladies if this has already been asked but when are you guys going on maternity leave? I was thinking about working all the way up until my due date but with my work schedule, I may take it earlier
called hr at my job to find out about paid maternity leave. they basically told me I'm ineligible for a paid leave (short term disability) but that I can do a "job protection" leave that's unpaid and I have to use my vacation hours. this is exactly why I will not be returning to taco bell after I have this baby! been working there for almost 3 years, been a manager for almost a year, and I have to use vacation hours for maternity leave!?
Any tips/suggestions on what to do on maternity leave before little one is here...I can already see myself getting fed up and it's only day 1🙈
