I know how you're feeling. I couldn't breast feed either due to production so I had to supplement and I tried everything to get my supply in. Literally EVERYTHING. here we are 5 weeks later and my LO is strictly formula fed. And we also found out he had Jaundice the night before our discharge so we had to stay longer and he was on the little pad thing too! See there's a picture of my little glow worm(: all I can say is keep your chin up. It gets easier! And be thankful that they're catching his jaundice now instead of discharging you. It being worse then them re admitting just your baby and not you and keeping your LO in the box under lights where you can't even hold them. And I know how it feels not being able to BF. You feel like you failed at your 1 job. I still get depressed about it. Just try to remember FED IS FED! No matter if it's supplemented or breast! I'm hoping you can at least pump and bottle feed of that's what you want!! I'll be praying for you mama. Message me if you need anything. Advice or just to chat! I hate that! The state testing where they take blood from your babies heel. Such monsters! The poor thing just went through birth and you want to draw blood!!!! Wth 😤😤😤 I couldn't breastfeed either, till this day I still haven't had my baby latch on. I don't think she ever will and I'm fine with that. As long as she's fed. I pump and bottle feed, it all works.
