Mine is the same way. It wouldn't matter if I was pumping and feeding or formula feeding. He doesn't care to get involved. Just keep in mind that formula is a shit ton of work. You have a bunch of bottles to clean, you have to buy it, and you have to make sure you have enough when you leave the house. We are 6 months strong. Hubby won't even feed the baby real food. He'll either get interested or he won't. Breastmilk is such an amazing gift you can give your baby. It is mostly water but it has tons of extra stuff in it. You are able to protect your baby from sicknesses, comfort the baby, and breastmilk changes from one feeding to another based upon what your child needs. Your husband shouldn't be a deciding factor, if he's not interested now formula won't make him interested. That's just my two cents, you are welcome to message me. I think our situations are pretty similar.
Dont give up though, its hard, its really hard but you just have to make time and when breast feeding that gives you your "down time" when your on the go. The first couple months is the hardest but than it becomes a little easier im telling you!
@prikel3, because hubby is not very supportive. giving me no time to feed or pump. always has me running errands or doing something that prevents me from nursing. also doc said my milk is pretty much water.
