How are you supposed to clean a newborn's mouth? My baby's tongue is getting white and having buildup.

thrush is passed back and forth from momma to baby I believe it just irritates them I don't know about colic . but a warm wash rag is fine.

The stuff on the tongue can give them colic and make them fussy? @mommyofprincess

i used a wet warm wash cloth to do it its all the same and spending no money you don't want them to get colic so don't let it build up they will get fussy and also my naby doctor prescribed her some stuff for it you can get that also.

Like this you can get them at target or Walmart and sometimes they have them at grocery stores in the toothbrush aisle

someone said they took a wet wash rag and rubbed their babies tongues, I took one of those finger tooth brushes and wetted it and rubbed my daughter's tongue.

You can get a finger toothbrush and just use water to clean the baby gums
