I feel like I complain so much lol but it bothers me that only one person on my child's fathers side of the family came to my baby shower and she is the only person from his family that got the baby anything! Her father has not even got her one thing!

if you don't want them to be there then make that known. my husband has been there the whole time ita just his mom's side. I will probably allow them to come to the hospital knowing that they probably won't (and they won't stay as long at the hospital ad they would if they came to the house). just stand your ground and you can have the nurses help with what you want. they are there for you and your babies health. if having those people could stress you both out then they won't have a problem being the bad guy.

Shit I feel if it ain't his cousin I don't want anyone from his family there him or his family have not had no part of this I went to every appointment alone his cousin offered to go with me me and her are close I lived with her for a few months but other then her I don't even know anyone else in his family and I was with him 3 years ugh I feel stupid

my husbands moms side was this exact same way with my shower. his mom passed away 2 years ago but I felt that the rest of her side should have stepped up in her place and they didnt. now they want to be some of the first people at the hospital after the girls are here... I don't know how we are going to deal with that yet
Just curious as to how a mother is so careless with her children that her 15 year old got pregnant and has 7 possibilities for the father .and one of the possibilities , is her STEP FATHER . WATCH. YOUR . KIDS.
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
So I’m not a fan of my fiancé’s family. I want you all opinion on what you would do. His family wants to throw me a baby shower. Yet they haven’t invited any of my family and friends and none of my fiancé’s friends. My fiancé and his niece haven’t spoke since May since I got into an argument with her and supposedly this baby shower is her idea. Would you go to a baby shower that no one you know or friends and family won’t be apart of? Would you just not show up? My fiancé has already voiced his concerns and they were ignored. I’m thinking about not even going.
