quick question for you mommies.
I'm a ftm & my son is 2 months old .
the past few days he has had a cough that is wet like mucus & wheezes when he cries. he is still happy and smiles but is also very fussy & doesn't eat as many ounces as he normally does. I've tried the humidifier & I've been putting baby vicks on his feet. he has no fever but it has not gotten any better. he had a doctor appointment but it had to be cancelled due to the office closing because of a blizzard we had here in new Mexico. what else should I try or should I take him to the hospital? I am very worried about my son but not to sure what to do. :( thank you in advance

My son has post nasal drip. it sounds like what your kid has.

When it doubt, go to the hospital. Also be very careful doing any kind of Medicine, even vicks. Always, always, always ask your pediatrician before doing anything.

Yea I would definitely keep an eye on his temp, maybe call the nurses hotline before taking to the hospital? Either way, you the mama, if you feel he needs to be seen by a doctor then do everything you can to make it happen! Always better to be safe than sorry! I will tell you that him being happy still is a good thing, it means he's not too bad off (yet!)

@hellosweetie thank you:) they told me to give him infants tylenol but they didn't say how much and the box says he's not old enough.so I'm a little confused!

Oh definitely call them back, they should give you an amount to give him based on his weight!!!

@sreccles he is 2 months. I didn't even think he was allowed to take tylenol yet.

They are allowed to take it at 2 months. they say to give it to them for shots and everything. it's safe.
