I'm 38 weeks and having what feels like contractions and back pain and it went from 10 to 6 minutes apart. my bf thinks I should go to the doctor to get checked but I'm not sure.we're both anxious for the baby to be here. I just dont know if I should go get checked????

how long do the contractions last?

they have been last for about 50 seconds or so.the last time I was checked they said I was 2 cm dilated

I'm just unsure because they happen then just randomly stop.

if it's labor starting it's usually constant.. but if they get closer definitely call your dr.. I would give her a call just to be on the safe side
