Another question for mommas who have already given birth at one point in time. I'm not scared of labor but I'm TERRIFIED of the healing process. I know it's expected to hurt because you just pushed a baby out of your Virgina but does it really hurt unbearably.? FTM here. Also how long did you bleed after having the baby and would it be wierd to ask for pads as a baby shower gift? I already have most of the items needed anyways.??

just don't think the worst @rainbowbaby2015
@latoyamanning82, I hope my heeling process is a breeze and not so bad. Knowing my luck I am getting scared and everything thinking the worst but it'll be easy and quick
everyone has their own experience for me the healing process was good I had stitches but it didn't stop me from anything. I was up and around the same day I had my baby and I healed nice even breastfeeding my bleeding lasted for a week maybe less but my periods are only 3 days.
@zoeysmommy54, I do plan to breast feed. So hopefully that makes a difference.
I was not anticipating the pain but man it was awful. I had one small tear but holy crap did it hurt to pee and even exist. Sex hurt like hell too and still does for me. You'll survive it all though! I bled for about 5 weeks (I was pumping and that didn't matter.) You'll need lots of pads so I'd say it's fine to request them. Hospital didn't give me enough, not even close. Everyone bleeds and heals different though.
Well it all depends if your breast feeding on the bleeding. I'm breast feeding and I bled for like a week and a half after delivery. But as of the hurting I was a little achy when I was sitting down but as for that I didn't really have any pain
you will get all the pads you'll need from the hospital
