Yeah definitely I think it's because you just want people to be more understanding. I find family and friends will say "why don't you do this instead or have you tried that" instead of just saying that's a good idea etc. I know everyone is entitled to an opinion & sometimes on here people disagree with an idea but there's no stigma or judgement around it. Family just want what's best for us but sometimes that can be half the battle!! X

do you not find you tend to listen to advise from strangers more than the people that you know as well! me and my hubby are the first to get married and try to have a baby and have had no luck yet and it definitely makes me feel better talking to other people that are going through the same thing
all I get from my friends is teasing and telling me to come out and get drunk before my 9 month dry spell...

I know I think it's down to how judgemental people you know can be...I don't think it's intentional but sometimes you just want impartial advice and don't want everyone knowing everything

I completely agree there are somethings you'd rather share with strangers than the people you love sounds weird but it's true...
