I barely produce any milk in the first place so when I just dropped what I just pumped on the kitchen floor I was almost to tears! Why me Lord? 😢 I hope with this marathon pumping, mild maid tea, superfoods smoothies, and fenugreek my supply begins to increase. If anyone has anymore suggestions please send them my way.
Lol its tough in the beginning even now I work full time too but if it wasnt for my hubby being supportative I would have gave up but I love it. Its the only "down time" I get and its just my son and I (: @rachelirene
I know (: lol I mentioned that to her in my first comment but her bubs was in the NICU when he was first born so that kinda delayed the start of breastfeeding all together @rachelirene when my son was first born I was only getting about an oz or 2 now I just pumped 5 ozs out of one boob and were almost 7 months strong so your body adjusts to how much they suckle and stimulate your body to produce more. The more they show hunger to your body the more your body will produce @nickysmom89
Yeah dont give up keep trying! He will stimulate your body more than a pump will so even if he gets fussy breast feed than formula (: I read something online too last that alot of skin to skin helps produce more milk. So if your home one day wear a sports bra and keep him in a diaper and do it (: everytime my son was done feeding I pumped and it helped, I pump every 2 hrs or nurse on demand when im home from work, you can do this and so can the little guy (:
remember. baby stomach is really small and doesn't mean that much right now so don't overfeed
@des_a_rayy, he refuses to nurse 😢 he went to the NICU immediately after I gave birth and I had a hard time with even producing any milk while I was in the hospital. He's exclusively fed with formula and I occasionally give him breast milk when I can produce enough. But I try to offer him the breast first before giving him the bottle. Sometimes he will suckle for a few minutes but most times he will not. He will scream and cry 😢
awe. I'm just saying. I need a lot of support. it's really hard, be patient, don't give up, stressful. @des_a_rayy
