Yeah anther thing don't let anyone tell u what to do with ur baby trust me!! You as a young mother will grow up learning what's best for ur baby. But trust me everything will fall into place with ur little one❤️ so don't worry about it

Damn hard situation but you do need to stand up to your mom. I know she's ur mom but it's your baby not hers and only u and ur boyfriend have right over the baby. The grandparents are just grandparents not the parents. I feel u though I went through the same when I was 16. Your boyfriend and you should move in together. Him with u or u with him.

I'm sorry but I need to stand up to your mom I use to let people run me over and it was awful but that is the baby's father and you like him that's all that matters the baby is yalls not ur moms

I'm going through the same I'm under age but I'm not with the father. Tbh your mom has no saying because this is your child. I would say make sure he signs the birth ticket so if he decides to run (to leave) you can take him for child support because you know you can't do it on your own now a day and being young with a child it's harder.

@elisagee, no because baby happened beforehand. there's nothing illegal about it. I jusy went throuhh yhis with my kids and their father

my brother went through this at 16 he had to start paying child support because of the girls mom was getting assistance from the state the mother of the child was 15 good luck and yes until you are 18 the baby is considered to be your mother's I went through it too I got pregnant at 14 but was already out of my mom's house and the court told me the same thing about my son

I don't believe she's allowed to do so. you can call a lawyer in ur area and ask over the phone.

@katelynn its already hard enough 😕 i mean i thank her because she's taking me to my appointments but other than that , its horrible . she doesnt like the father so she isnt letting me go see his family & this started when i was around 3 months . then she isnt letting me see him its rare or my dad has to argue with her so she can let him come over for an hour or two ..

17 isn't overage so your good. if he was 18 it'd be different

@gionna_sav i'll be 17 in may & he's 17 already . && yeah pretty much she's trying to do everything to keep me away from him . according to the lawyer , he doesn't really have any rights && well my mom has them all .

well that lawyer is very wrong I need to talk to the lawyer alone bc it's your baby and I need to show ur mom who is the boss over this baby bc if not she will run all over you I know it will be hard :(

when will you be 17 & how old is he & I honestly don't think she can do anything. she's not the parent unless she has full custody of your baby. my best friend got pregnant at 16 and her mom was trying to do everything under the sun but she couldn't because they told her she's not the parent.
