I'm having the same exact problem but I live with my in laws because we don't have enough money for an apartment yet. So my mil wants to take over especially last night. She said that my daughter was waiting on her to put her to sleep and that she has a special way of putting her to sleep. That really pissed me off. I mean it doesn't sound that bad but after having to deal with her telling me what to do, me feeling like that's not even my child because if I do what I want she tells me that's your child do whatever you want with her in a sarcastic way, and always trying to take care of her obsessively when I'm around. like chill tf out that's my daughter. if she's crying I'll handle it. if she needs to be changed I or her dad will handle it. if she's sick we'll handle like she won't be happy unless she's doing everything and that pisses me off the most... Sorry about my rant. I just know exactly what you're going thru. its annoying and hurtful.

You are the mom. Plain and sim0le, eating until you throw up is never healthy. next time your mil says something like that, tell her to go eat till she throws up. The bottle probably won't mess up his latch, but explain to your hubby that while you are around you would like the baby to just have boob.

Being a young mom and married is very frustrating because everyone wants to put their two sense in on how to raise your baby. Trust me I know. Tell everyone to kick rocks it's your baby not theirs and if your husband doesn't like it he can kick some rocks too. I would choke my husband if he wanted to listen to everyone but me thankfully I'm a stay at home mom and raise my own child but I do get the do this it's better because I raised my own children bullshit every now and then, or my sister who mind you is older then me but not a mom or a wife yet tries to tell me I'm doing something wrong with my child and shit definitely gets heated. So I feel your pain

That sounds very frustrating. I'm sorry. And um feed him till he pukes wtf type of shit she on? That's nothealthy at all. I had to feed my daughter a bottle of breast milk for her first two months bc she couldn't latch. Now her latch is great and she almost 8 months

@_akgirl, I wish. My husband takes her every word over mine. I don't care that she raised 7 kids. She did it the opposite of how I want my child raised...

@charlotttesmama6515, I wouldn't be mad if we hadn't already introduced bottles and I had to fight to get him to latch right again. My son has really bad jaundice, and this entire time I've been fighting to keep breastfeeding cause everyone is doubting my ability.

Uh, ew. But I gave my baby a bottle with supplement formula because I felt like my milk would never come in (I'm the only one in my family who bfs so I didn't know much at first) and her latch was fine. I also used a paci for about a month while in the car. I think he will be alright, but I would be mad too. Momma knows best

@charlotttesmama6515, see, I know all this. But his father won't listen to me. Will never touch formula though, thankfully he's giving him breast milk in the bottle. But it's still a damn bottle, and I'm still pissed. And his grandma keeps saying we need to feed him til he pukes, cause THATS fucking healthy... Sorry, I'm emotionally shot.

Formula can also stretch their little bellies out to where they can't be satisfied with breast milk because its not as dense.

His number of wet diapers will tell you that he's getting enough. Don't give him a bottle unless you're okay with it. You're his mother.
