Genevieve update !
She is 4lb6oz!
Moving into an open crib tonight!
Getting weaned off of the oxygen!
I got to watch a few "training " videos today about safe sleep, car seat safety & something else I can't think of.. lol
They told me to bring in her car seat soon so she can do her car seat test.
Took her bottle for me today in 4 min.
I asked her nurse about how much longer she'll have in there and she said they normally don't give time limits, but if she had to guess, she'll probably come home in 2 weeks !!!!!
I am beyond thrilled and happy !
She got a new, bigger room, it's a private room and I love it !

I know how you feel my little girl was in the nicu for 4 weeks she was born on Dec 1st and came home Dec 28 it was rough but girl every milestone is amazing when you reach them. I cried when she came off the oxygen and went to an open crib it's incredible how strong our kids are and how strong we are when you have to go through something like the nicu and not getting to be there for them every night like you want to. But she is almost there and will be home soon.
Awesome! So happy to see everything is going great for your little bundle of joy!

Open crib is the home stretch of the nicu world!=] that and the car seat challenge. I remember how excited I was to come in and see my son in an open crib for the first time. (As I start crying.. Geeze). It's an awesome thing.

Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...

Does this look like a dog? If so, what kind? Someone posted it on a lost dog Facebook page and said that she is very skinny and looks like she's been on her own for a while. She kind of looks like a baby fox or coyote to me.

I learned the hard way she can make it through anything . I don't want to sound cocky or arrogant, but after hearing my entire pregnancy to terminate bc she won't make it (I had no amniotic fluid & she was measuring 4 weeks behind) I stuck it out & now she's showing me I made the right choice . she is my true hero
