23 weeks pregnant with twin girls! Excited to get advice from others to help on this wonderful journey
I don't remember the name I can look in the morning... it. starts with an a. my insurance paid for a pump and sent it sk I would look into that. I heard they have to under the affordable Care act. my sister in law used medela and loved it. dont waste your time or money on a single pump nor a manual one.
@shewhoovercomes, I work in a nicu so general questions I can answer typically
@shewhoovercomes, yeah and honestly Noone is ever prepared for a premie completely.. having to ask when or if you can hold your baby is something that in the nicu you must become aware of atleast I wouldn't say you should be okay with it just understand why. also the long term complications and issues you could have with having a premie. even if it's just a few weeks premature.
Thanks @aphrodite2014! I've heard about the not everything is double. great idea to mentally prepare for preemies . intellectually I know it, but not necessarily prepared.
I agree.. you don't have to have double of everything. stock up on diapers and wipes of all different sizes. prepare yourself for early delivery. decide how you are going to feed. if bfing then invest in a good pump of you are doing formula then I would buy some of that. I plan on bfing buy also have a box full of formula incase I have to supplement (my SIL had to with her twins)
I'm expecting twins myself. I find out next week the sexes I'm hoping for a boy and girl :)
