my ob says its not infection that it is my mucus plug. so it could be your mucus plug

@mjj3, mine has been yellow and slightly greenish as its been coming out a lot over the past week or two, that means infection? I did have a uti so thats probably all it is right?

I did call my ob just a bit ago... they said its normal and it is my mucus plug. that at this early that's usually the color of it especially if it hasn't just came all out at once. ob said when its bloody that's when it has came out completely at once. so they said to not worry cause labor can happen in a day to a couple weeks.

It shouldn't be green at all. My mom is an ob nurse and green usually means infection. It should be clear, white, pink or bloody. In some cases it's a brownish tint from blood. But green and yellow are concerning. Please for the sake of you and baby call your doc or hospital or go in.

but that's what I was told it can take up to 2 weeks but I was just wondering how other women's went and how long it took some other women...

well when I asked my aunt that's a nurse she said yeah it can be clear, green, pink or bloody. and the ob tells me but that's an estimate. they can never tell you exactly how far along. I just know I'm 36 weeks between today and Tuesday.

how do u not know how far along you are? doesn't your ob tell u?
