@quintana504, looks like you got that answered.. it isn't till after you give birth the colostrum being produced is the stuff before your milk comes in. but only baby can help you bring your milk in by feeding on the colostrum the first few days of life

you can't start pumping until after you give birth and your milk comes in. the colostrum you produce while pregnant isn't exactly breast milk. your baby needs it when they're first born, but it's not the same as breast milk.

I'm still pregnant and producing colostrum.. breast milk is easier on the stomach for babies then formula BTW

I have heard though that coconut oil really helps.

@augusttmermaidd, @aphrodite2014 I know... nothing helps and we'll I am not breast feeding I am 17 weeks and 6 days preggo... that's what my sister tell me is because I am producing colostrum

mine started doing that before I started producing colostrum.... now when I need to milk my boobs my nipple iches

Mine do too. Nothing has helped so far.
