anyone else have the worst depression in their pregnancy or have had it in their previous…

I'm a manic depressive. and highly bipolar. its literally ruining my relationship.

@zombiemombie, I have cynical depression. I was doing good up until a few weeks ago now I'm lost getting worse, and it's once again ruining my relationship as well.

I would like to know meds that can be taken as well.

I have PTSD and clinical depression. My ob, psych and primary care doctor are all telling me to do everything I can to cope without my meds until after my LO is weaned. They have all said that they only want to use meds as a last resort as none of them are safe for LO

I've had depression since I was 13 my grandma who raised me just died and I literally don't get dressed unless I'm getting food, I feel bad cause I hear our baby's feel what ever we feel

@sarahfudge, then explains whyy son doesn't like his father. I get so disappointed with him that he won't kick or even move for him.

couple it be your situation is having a HUGE impact on your mood? I notice you always having conflict with your babies father and his family, is there anywhere else you can go to take a break from them and see if that helps??

I feel like its what it is. and I have no where to go. i'm literally secluded to a bedroom bc I jumped states with him. I haven't been to South Carolina in almost 3 years and no one is willing to come get me so I can Just have a break. so even if I wanted to.. I couldn't leave because I have no friends or nothing here. @tahtahme

I haven't had a job on almost 2 years. ive struggles for the longest to get a job and nothing ever pulled through. and I have no money to my name. it's my dad id have to visit. I lost my mom back when I was 11. but even if I did have the money to go visit. it'd just be drama because then I'll talk about us moving back and then everyone starts another huge fight over how apparently I'll never be able to go back to where I'm from if anyone has anything to do with it, as if they're the only family my child has. meanwhile my dad and my boyfriends dad are back in sc and don't even get to be involved with the pregnancy bc everyone here is so childish. @tahtahme

Damn it sounds like he is being a little controlling because he has people to fall back on. You think your dad will lend you $100 for a bus ride to him if you asked? You've got to get out of there if you are severely depressed, it doesn't seem healthy that your bf isn't noticing your feelings when you are over halfway through pregnancy, and you are having depressed thoughts! You've been depressed before you were pregnant or is this the first time? These people should realize if they aren't going to be respectful, loving, and supportive of YOU as a person, you have every right to leave whether you are pregnant or not. Your the mom, they can be visitors if need be.

my dad won't give me the money. ive asked numerous times before. ive been dealing with all this bc it's my only option

Awe, honey, hang in there, the baby needs you! Maybe you will have to get a small job and set aside some money for later? Do you think if you could pay for it, your dad would let you stay at his house? Or is there a possibility your bf is just going through a weird phase?

I truly feel like its a weird phase. he's never been like this before in the two years we've been together @tahtahme I just don't like how he's been acting. it worries me so much

Maybe its his worry about finally becoming a father? That's a huge step! It might be best if you were direct and ask him directly of that's it.
