what's everyones thoughts and experiences with castor oil and evening promise oil??

Whatever you do please don't do castor oil!

now I'm kinda freaking out over the castor oil because I took it last night and nothing happened at all. I didn't know your baby could swallow it's poop.... you think I should call my Dr or can they not to anything anyway til after she's here?

I'd do evening primrose oil over castor oil. The risks aren't worth it, and I even took it twice and nothing happened, but I'd never do it again.

So I took one pill orally I'm morning and at night stuck two up the who ha lol and within two days I was 2 cm

I did evening primrose oil starting at 37 weeks and it dialated me to 4

I tried it last night and nothing at all. like it says it's supposed to make you go to the bathroom and it didn't do anything.

all the mommies I have help deliver said castor oil works fine for them. Every one body is different. start with a low dose.

after birth?

From a medical perspective you deff don't want castor oil, it's been known to cause babies to poop in utero and aspirate it into their lungs.
