It's entirely possible it's just not as easy to because baby is smaller. I struggled to find out my baby's sex. I had a gender scan done at week 16, 17 and 18. All unsuccessful due to her position. Had my usual 20 week scan, still no idea. They redid my 20 week scan as they struggled to measure everything, at 22 weeks and again couldn't get gender. I had a private 4D done at 29 weeks, not expecting to find out due to how naughty she'd been previously and finally find out I was having a girl. Which was re confirmed at another scan at 32 weeks, and 34 weeks as I've had growth scans my last trimester. X

@dweeb55, Yeah I had accepted the fact I wouldn't know till the birth. So it was a pleasant surprise to find out when I finally did. Can't wait to meet her now x

yeah I would say so I found out at 16 weeks I was having a boy and then later confirmed at 20 and 34 weeks. girls are harder but there's no doubt about it when there's something hanging between their legs lol. no harm in asking I suppose.. I definitely would xxx

I'm 34 weeks Tom and still can't be bothered..usually from 36-37 weeks if I remember right, my husband can't wait for that stage he said it's the best part lol x

I found out at 16 weeks I was having a little girl. Paid £50 for a private 3D gender scan. Well worth the money get to see baby in 3D and find out gender early:)) however they can be wrong but it's usually 99% right xx
