i had a really bad headache all day yesterday that wouldnt go away no matter what i tried, today i noticed my face and feet were swollen, i have never gotten swollen during this pregnancy and so i was at the store today and thought i should check my blood pressure since i was already there, my dr considers the 130s a bit high for me but this is what i got, should i be worried?? i dont want to go get checked because my hubby is too busy celebrating new years with his friends already.

you should get checked out. and don't be embarrassed that u can't drive I don't have a license as well. call a friend or a family member or even take a taxi but u really need to go get checked out.
I'd tell them whatever you need to in order to get you to the hospital !

My mum dismissed my high blood pressure too. And if you had to ask an online community for advice, and we're all suggesting you see a doctor, you should probably take the advice.
Call your husband and tell him he needs to come home and watch the kids. Your health is more important than a New Years party. If things get worse and you can't get to the hospital in time, whose going to be there for you and the kids? Have your hubby come home and go to the hospital. It's better to be safe than sorry.
i told my mom how high it was but she said its probably just because i was walking around in the store before getting it checked, i dont think thats the case but im just kind of scared
i had preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and had to deliver at 37 weeks, its just that we live far from the nearest hospital and theres no one who could watch my two toddlers, because everyone left to new years party @kimberlyyyy
I had to delever 1 month early due to preeclamsia and was in hospital for 1 week then sent me home on bed rest went back 2 weeks later and had her via c section @kimberlyyyy
so yes go get checked out and I'm praying for the best!

@tayek, @tinytinatank @keeragannicole and I are probably all on the same page. Just go. You're 40 weeks anyway right? GO. GET. CHECKED. OUT. I had to deliver early because of severe preeclampsia (and another issue on top of it) . I felt fine- just had headaches and tested my blood pressure at my local drug store and it ended up being really bad. Obviously if I had to stay at a hospital for a week and deliver 11 weeks early it wasn't good.
Does your OB's office have the option to call and ask questions to an on call doc?

You should go to L&D to be checked. High blood pressure along with headaches are nothing to f**k around with. Just go to be safe.
you could even call an ambulance it's what I would do if no one could take me .
