Also, try to use lukewarm to cooler water, hot water makes the itching worse, and lotion up with unscented lotion, I believe it was lubriderm I was told to use

I had this with both of my kids and will likely have it this time around, if you have it they will prescribe a medication to take, try not to itch, as it makes it worse, and try oatmeal baths, it can help, but not always

@mamamj, that's what I was getting at, @maritza0216 you should call your doctor and ask about getting the blood drawn to check your liver

At your next appointment see if it could be your liver. I had pretty intense itching especially at bedtime. My doctor had my blood drawn to check my bile salt levels. Good luck and hope it subsides for you, I know how miserable it is!

way bad like I said I just want to cry and enjoy these last weeks. even my husband feels bad but nothing works I shower with cool water it help for like 2.2sec. ugh

yes I have benadryl but only take it at night cuz it makes me sleepy.....

@maritza0216, also does your palms of your hands and souls of your feet itch more?

Is it worse at night?

Does Benadryl help at all?
