I had an anatomy scan for baby today at 10:30 I'm getting ready I get that cancellation call because they are short staff I'm like so call someone else, you know how hard it is to get a day off at work I made the apt a month ago w time had to ask for it off at work and I payed for child care since my kids r off of school right now do you understand all that I had to go through today and how long I've waited to see my baby do you!!!!!
ugh well all she said is sorry next apt will be next Thursday in which I work now I dk how to get it off I'm so pissed n nauseous now!!!

Ladies, I'm so freaking excited and happy right now that I am UGLY crying at work !! My doctor just called me because he got my blood results back, baby is good and I'm having A BOYYYY!!! I cant believe after all I've been through I finally get my boy !!! Thank you Jesus !!! I want to surprise Tim, any ideas of how I can surprise him for when he gets home from work tonight ??? Let's hear it.

Paternity leave
How much time did your S/O take off of work when you had a baby? Luckily I live in California so we have 6 weeks paid paternity leave (55%), but my S/O is getting s*** at work for taking 4 weeks. It's honestly infuriating that people are asking why he needs so much time off and "he's not going to be taking care of the baby the whole time". Umm it's called BONDING LEAVE. Okay update. I dropped the kids off at school and they had to check their hair and they were good. I talked to the teacher and she said that they didn't have a case but that an older sibling had it and I guess the mom treated both kids. I was like oh but if you have a case do we get notified and she said no, it's a HIPPA violation. 🤯 I said how, I'm not asking for names and you don't even have to say it was in their class.
