and how often does it become hard? and does the pain go away after like a 30 seconds to a minute? since your 39 weeks along. you could be having signs of labor. start timing the pain and the tightening. and if they become 5 minutes apart. I would call your OB @nadiahuynh

@momma588, they last about 30 seconds to a minute. I'm timing now and have an appt today at 1. So far they are just uncomfortable (mild) but def stronger than I've felt before.
