craving ice usually means low iron.

@mommabear3cubs yeah my ob told me, but I've been taking iron pills on and off since before my pregnancy.

Oh ok. I craved ice so bad with my 1st. but not with my 2nd or this one.

I can go through a 10lb bag in a day and a half! It's been my only craving through all three pregnancies! I cried for ice during my first pregnancy and my husband had to go get me some.

you lack iron that's all it means. at least you aren't eating dirt that's the other craving people have when lacking iron. my mom and I both have done it. and I love certain places ice more then others lol
