anyone have remedies for nasal congestion for a 9 month old? he's not sick.. no fever.. he's just plugged up.. BAD. to where he wakes up out of a dead sleep at night because he can't breathe.. he's on allergy medicine from his doctor but bit doesn't seem to be helping. any ideas on what worked for you?

have a humidifier and it's not so bad during the day.. it's usually only at night when he lays down for bed. and we don't have any pets
not breast feeding anymore, and we had a humidifier but we haven't got it set up yet. maybe I will do that tomorrow since it's my day off. and I was thinking vics vapor rub?? any thoughts?
i use a cool mist humidifier near my daughters crib while she sleeps. is it daily? could be from dust/pets/etc. Idk if you are breastfeeding but if you are, a couple drops of breast milk in each nostril and let sit for a minute or two then use a nose Frieda.
Johnson and Johnson makes a babies vapor bath, I do that with warm water and after use saline and clean his nose out. Sometimes we use a hot humidifier and I use an organic chest rub on his nose to help breathe a little bit better :)
cut the hot water on in the shower set on the potty when it's good & steamed up in there set a few minutes like 15 or so will help open things up
